Are you someone who struggles with finding pleasure in the process of cooking and eating? Do you find yourself relying on quick and easy microwave meals just to get by? I used to be like that long time ago, until I discovered the joy of taking the time to make something delicious and healthy for myself.
Recently, I’ve been feeling particularly happy and content with my life. Why? Because I’ve learned to appreciate the simple things in life that give me a sense of fulfillment and joy. One of those things is making myself a delicious and healthy breakfast.
My go-to breakfast recipe consists of blending together a banana, almond milk, oats, blueberries, raspberries, and chia seeds. I let it sit for a while and then add my favorite toppings. It’s not only tasty, but it’s also visually appealing. The best part is that I can prepare it in advance and have enough for the whole week, saving time and effort.
For some reason, I always find excuses not to cook when I’m at home. But when I’m somewhere else, I jump at the opportunity to make something new and delicious. The process of creating something from scratch fills me with enthusiasm and creativity, and it’s genuinely the time of my life.
What’s even more satisfying is that I know exactly what I’m putting into my body, and I try to keep sugar to a minimum. Starting my day with a nutritious meal sets me up for a great day ahead, and it’s an enjoyable experience in itself.
So, what about you? Do you enjoy the process of cooking and eating, or do you find it a struggle? Let me know in the comments below. Who knows, I might even write a post about some simple tricks to get delicious food with minimal effort.
Yours,
Tati
